Amcal Calcium Plus with vitamin D, Boron and Magnesium. Amcal Calcium Plus is specially formulated to assist in the prevention of osteoporosis and help maintain healthy bones and teeth. It contains additional nutrients such as Vitamin D3 and Boron to enhance and improve Calcium absorption. Calcium requriements can be increased depending on age, gender, diet and during pregnancy and lactation. Research has shown that more than one quarter of all males and half of all females have Calcium intakes below the Australian recommended dietary intake (RDI).
Patients on calcium channel blocker medicines for hypertension should discuss the use of Calcium supplements with their medical adviser. Do not use with bisphosphonate drugs without medical advice. Patients receiving prescribed medications should advise their doctor they are taking this product.
