Efalex by Efamol helps improve children's wellbeing. It contains fish (tuna) oil, evening primrose oil, vitamin E, thyme oil.
Efalex is a patented, specially formulated, combination of fish (tuna) oil, evening primrose oil, vitamin E and thyme oil. Efalex is a rich source of the fatty acids: docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). Research studies have shown that these fatty acids are beneficial for the proper functioning of visual processes and may assist with poor vision.
DOSAGE: Adults and children over 5 - take 4 capsules with food or as directed by your physician.
Children (3-5 years) - 2 to 3 capsules with food or as directed by your physician. (The capsules can be cut open with scissors and contents mixed with food.)
If taking Efalex for the first time start at the above dose and after 12 weeks reduce this dose by half. Efalex is not habit forming.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS PER CAPSULE: Fish oil (high DHA) 366mg providing docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) 80mg, Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) 23.4mg. Efamol evening primrose oil (EPO) 142mg Providing gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) 16mg, dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate 7.5mg (equivalent to 15IU vitamin E), Thyme oil 1.3mg. Contains non-active ingredients glycerol and gelatin.
LOW ALLERGY FORMULA Free of sugars, yeast, salicylic acid, milk derivatives, whey powder, wheat and corn starch, gluten, preservatives, artificial flavours and colours.
